Challenge
Selling science curriculum to Schools and School Districts of Texas, hoping to expand to the United States – but needed to operate more efficiently.
Solution
- Curriculum are products which are added to opportunities and then disseminated first as Quotes, then as Invoices
- Tracking account relationships between Schools, ISDs and Texas Regions
- Scheduling trainers on shared Salesforce calendars
- All ISDs/Texas schools pre-loaded. Leads are only unmatchable leads or from the website.
Results
- Currently an individual calculates the cost of the products and creates a Quote. Then the Quote is manually emailed to the School. The School returns a PO, and then the staff member manually creates an Invoice, which is then sent to the school. In Salesforce, the Quote and Invoice are both created and emailed with 3 clicks.
- Shared calendar where training can be scheduled for trainers and viewed by all involved
- Conference details all stored in one location (campaigns with budgets, participants, vendors, etc.)
